Lost Ollie (2022)
In this Netflix animated series scheduled for release in 2022, a lost toy travels through his home state of Kentucky in search of the young boy who lost him. The series is inspired by William Joyce's book “Ollie’s Odyssey.”
This animation/live action hybrid is created and adapted by Kentucky native Shannon Tindle, known for his work on Coraline and the stop-motion fantasy film Kubo and the Two Strings. It is directed by Peter Ramsey, director of the Academy Award winning animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The series is executive produced by Shawn Levy and Josh Barry from Stranger Things and 21 Laps Entertainment, with Emily Morris, Iddo Lampton Enochs and Brandon Oldenburg serving as co-executive producers. Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) is creating the CGI characters for the series.
